For the first time, 6 female photographers of the Mid North Coast have come together to exhibit their flower photography. Denise McDermott had a vision to fill the gallery with beautiful flowers so she invited 5 of her fellow female flower photographers to join in this exhibition.
The exhibitors Helen Brown, Giang Duong, Denise McDermott, Robyn Mussett, Anne Secomb, and Barbara Sheppard have been working on this exhibition for more than a year to present their best floral works.
All 6 photographers have a different style. Viewers will be treated to a variety of flowers and colours as well as styles. Although all artworks start as a photograph, some are taken beyond the photograph and into the realm of more painterly presentations.
There are flowers that are bright and cheery and others that are soft and dreamy. This exhibition will lift the spirits with its celebration of floral art and visitors will be surrounded by beauty.
An artist will be on hand every day to discuss the works.
