Denise and Mike are exhibiting their photographic art together again after a successful exhibition in 2019. While both photographers are accomplished in photographing traditional subjects like landscapes and portraits they are taking their work further. Instead of photographs of the real world, you will see flights of fancy and landscapes of imagination. Both Denise and Mike draw their inspiration from their imagination and from legends and folklore. Come along, meet the artists and be transported to other worlds peopled by fantasy characters. Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery was developed to enhance the cultural aspects of the Macleay Valley community through the attraction of travelling and local exhibitions and to facilitate cultural growth through providing a space for local artists to exhibit and generate income.
The gallery is managed by a volunteer community committee on behalf of Kempsey Shire Council and is staffed by volunteers and artists
