Carnsew and Urban often exhibit together and share a joy of contemporary painting in acrylic and mixed media. Their artworks start as an impression or memory which is translated into brilliant colours and textures.
Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery was developed to enhance the cultural aspects of the Macleay Valley community through the attraction of travelling and local exhibitions and to facilitate cultural growth through providing a space for local artists to exhibit and generate income.
The gallery is managed by a volunteer community committee on behalf of Kempsey Shire Council and is staffed by volunteers and artists
