Brooke Engledow and friend Chisten Hartveit are having a celebratory collaboration. They met doing Tafe Fine Arts Ceramics in Kempsey and found they were kindred spirits, both overcoming health issues and finding a peace with artmaking in middle age. “Happy Place” is about the beauty of the world around us living in the Macleay but also refers to the happy place when in the flow of making art. A collection of ceramics, paintings and drawings these works reflect a personal exploration in various media and pushing technical skills.
