Born in the Macleay Region in 1980, Carly works in the medium of painting and mixed media. She works predominantly using oils and acrylic to create portraits on different surfaces, from paper to timber. Her art captures moments in time, the connection of people and their environment and the mood this creates.

“ I create art because I feel compelled to do so. I have been drawing and painting since I was very young. It has always been the way I express my feelings. It is my therapy, my escape. The focus of my art is to sensitively communicate with people and for them to experience an emotional response and connection. I am dedicated to this entirely”
