Marilyn Urban states ;“My passion is for abstract contemporary work in acrylic paints and many mixed mediums. I am in love with the vivid colours and the quick drying aspect of acrylic paint. I don't usually have a plan as such until I pick up brushes in my studio. Colours come to me, something else takes over and I am in another world”.

Leigh Carnsew After a long break from painting Carnsew attended workshops, which included acrylics, mixed media, pastel and silver smithing. “As a result, I finally found my niche and now work mainly in acrylics and mixed media. My subject matter is quite varied. I take a lot of inspiration from memories of my travels overseas and in Australia. I would sum up my style as moving between impressionistic and abstract. However, I always keep an open mind and am prepared to try anything new. This exhibition contains mostly work from the last 18 months.”

Leanne Drury enjoys all forms of art. “My love of mixed media, acrylics and resin art have no bounds. I have worked with resin for 25 years and have found it to be very rewarding. All art is a journey who knows where it may take you.”
