Following decades working in the textiles industry as a designer, manufacturer and educator, I have returned to my love of the creative arts, exploring with a mixed palette of vibrant acrylics, water colours, oil pastels and prose.
Creativity to share and enjoy.

Having been given the opportunity to reconnect with my old pal Pete from NAS, I have reconnected with some of my old ideas. They may have seemed frivolous or even too personal in a young artists mind, but for two weeks in mid-winter, why not spice things up. Jen and Pete have welcomed me into their hosted exhibition and I think it’s just enough time to be a little daring. Bringing out some old poems and some new/forgotten ideas. Time for a little fun!

Brooke and I studied at the National Art School together over 20 years ago and only recently met up again. I went onto teaching Art at High School before returning to the Mid North Coast and my own Art Practice. Painting, drawing, printmaking, stencils, photography, film making and riding motorcycles. That’s when I met Jen and the collaborative exhibition was proposed.
‘Art is the marks we leave behind as we try and capture the impossible.’
I do like trying to capture the impossible, and sometimes it works.
